Team Ninja's cheesecake fighting game Dead or Alive will lollop onto Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 25, Tecmo Koei confirmed today at E3. The publisher also blasted out new screenshots and an E3 trailer for you to ogle.

DoA 5 boasts shiny interactive environmental elements, from destructible fences to tigers leaping through rings of fire to maul players. Yup. There are also triggerable 'Danger Zones' in each arena to provide major distraction, including collapsing glaciers and an exploding oil rig. Team Ninja certainly is putting on a fine spectacle.

Along with this E3 trailer, we've got a bag of new screenshots for your viewing pleasure.

Am I crazy or is that Nina from Tekken at the end of that trailer?

It's Sarah Bryant, from Tekken, who was confirmed to be included in the next DoA, along with Akira.

Sorry; Sarah Bryant from Virtua Fighter, joining Akira from Tekken in DOA.

Sheesh, too many fighter games and cross-pollination of characters. Sorry for the mistake! :)

Sarah Bryant is from Virtua Fighter, not Tekken.

I think we need a competition before we can make any crazy claims like that.
