GameFly begins huge summer sale today
by John Keefer, Jun 05, 2012 10:15am PDTNow that school is out and summer is officially under way, GameFly is kicking off a huge, themed summer sale that will last through June 20, with many popular games on sale, such as Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
The sale is broken up into themes, with each lasting 48 hours. Beginning today, the focus is West Coast USA, and features games such as GTA: San Andreas ($3.75), Dead Rising 2 ($10), L.A. Noire ($5), and Fallout: New Vegas ($25).
Here's the schedule and some select games for each theme:
- June 7 -- East Coast USA:
Games include Batman: Arkham City ($7.50), Grand Theft Auto IV ($5), Left for Dead 2 ($6.80), and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ($40.19)
- June 9 -- Kingdoms of Fantasy:
Games include Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning ($35.99), Rift ($10), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim ($40.19), and The Witcher 2 ($42.49)
- June 11 -- The Old World:
Games include Battlefield 3 ($30), Civilization V ($7.50), and Assassin's Creed II Deluxe ($5).
- June 13 -- Islands of Adventure:
Games include Dead Island ($12), Just Cause 2 ($5), and Bioshock 2 ($7.50).
- June 15 -- The Final Frontier:
Games include Mass Effect 3 ($35.99), Dead Space 2 ($5), and Aliens vs. Predator ($6)
- June 17 -- The Future:
Games include Deus Ex: The Human Revolution ($7.50), Rage ($30), and Portal 2 ($6.80)
