Avatar has released TargetQuake, a sidescrolling multiplayer Q3 mod. It has three maps and it supports bots if you cant find any other people to play against. I remember Avatar's Q1 sidescrolling mod and it was pretty cool. Saw this on Stomped.

So I gave this mod a try last night and all I have to say is, "Help! I can only move left and right! Ahhh!!! I've been warped back to a twisted, 2D limited past!"

Anyway, it's nice and gimicky for about 5 minutes. After that you really begin to feel constricted.
