FIFA and Madden 13 adds Kinect voice commands
by Steve Watts, Jun 04, 2012 10:01am PDTEA Sports stopped by Microsoft's press briefing to show off the Kinect features of two sports titles: FIFA Soccer 13 and Madden NFL 13. As you might expect, both games still let you use the controller as normal, but use the Kinect for voice commands.
In both cases, this manifests itself as commanding play calls. For Madden, Microsoft had NFL Hall of Fame member Joe Montana come to call audibles as the quarterback, and (unsurprisingly) run it in for a touchdown. The voice commands will also be used for defense, though EA didn't show that in action.
