Halo 4 trailer shows off new enemies, weapons
by Steve Watts, Jun 04, 2012 9:46am PDTMicrosoft opened its E3 press briefing with a bang today, showing a new trailer for Halo 4 that blended live-action, cinematic scenes, and gameplay. The trailer debuted some new tools for Master Chief to deal with, and some new enemies to dispatch using them.
The trailer showed Master Chief following the downed UNSC Infinity, but running afoul of the new enemies along the way. Cortana explicitly pointed out that they aren't Covenant, instead calling them a defensive AI. The trailer shows two Forerunner weapons that dissolved the new enemies, and we got a brief glimpse of a special visor to see cloaked enemies.
