Someone at Sony HQ must have gotten tired of watching weird Japanese videos via the Nico Nico app, because the company has announced YouTube is coming to Vita.

Vita will be available at the end of June as a free downloadable application. "With the YouTube application on PS Vita, you can watch millions of YouTube videos on the stunning 5" OLED screen," the official announcement notes.

YouTube will be the latest in Vita's growing library of apps, including Netflix and Twitter. According to the PlayStation.Blog, the YouTube app will feature "many of the functions you're already familiar with," including choosing favorites, leaving comments. Access to your personal YouTube account is also available on the app.
