Spy Hunter coming to 3DS and Vita
by John Keefer, May 30, 2012 1:30pm PDTI wasted way too many quarters in my youth playing the original Spy Hunter in my local arcade, with the music of Peter Gunn haunting me in my sleep. Unfortunately, the console adaptations did little in terms of quality to hold my interest. Now, after a long hiatus, the franchise is coming to the 3DS and Vita.
In honor of the 30th anniversary of the franchise, Warner Bros. Interactive announced the familiar G-6155 Interceptor sports car will be hitting the road again to combat those evil forces that kept trying to run it off the road. The game will have many of the usual upgrades, but a unmanned aerial support drone is being added to the Agent's arsenal.
The game is being developed by TT Fusion, known for several LEGO titles, and is expected to be released this fall.
