Among The Sleep reveals childhood horrors
by Alice O'Connor, May 29, 2012 1:00pm PDTAs adults, the idea of babyhood can be terrifying. Seeing from a perspective inches above the ground, you're faced with horrible leering clowns and fanged pets larger than you, and have no control over anything. Among The Sleep is tapping into this, the first gameplay trailer has revealed, as a first-person horror game played from the perspective of a two-year-old who's seemingly not quite alone in a spooky house. A bit like Amnesia with babies, see.
"Among The Sleep invites you into the mind and body of a two year old child," developer Krillbite Studio says on the official site. "After being put to bed one evening, mysterious things start to happen." Mysterious and ruddy terrifying, the Norwegian indie surely means.
Among the Sleep is slated for release on PC and Mac next year.
