Mass Effect 3 patch 1.03 hits PC today, consoles Thursday
by Alice O'Connor, May 29, 2012 8:15am PDTAs if saving the galaxy weren't already tricky enough with the Reapers, Cerberus and Geth in your way, Mass Effect 3 still has a bug or two to nip at your neck and drain a little of your game-enthusiasm-blood. Patch 1.03 is rolling out now, warping to PC today then landing on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Thursday.
There are a handful of campaign fixes in the patch notes, but mostly it's ME3's multiplayer being whipped into shape. You'll find fixes for getting stuck in certain places, a memory leak, wonky weapons, bugged enemies, and more.
Also due to arrive today is the free Rebellion Pack DLC, which adds new maps, weapons and characters to multiplayer. The much-requested single-player DLC to expand Mass Effect 3's ending, the Extended Cut is due later this summer.
