A newly announced Kinect game aims to approximate kung fu fighting, the martial art in which cats are fast as lightning. Kung Fu Superstar is coming from Kinesthetic Games, a small company founded in 2011. It will use the Kinect functionality to have you imitate kung fu in a motion-controlled take on the fighting game genre.

You'll be put in the role of Danny Cheng, who will learn his martial arts techniques to rise through the ranks and eventually lands a role as a famed movie stuntman. The announcement promises multiple movie sets, colorful characters, and several different fight choreographs to follow. Plus, at least in theory you'll be able to learn some actual martial arts skills.

" fight choreographs to follow "

      So it's a rhythm game!

I like the idea of getting all Kung Fu in front of the camera though, looks well implemented in this game... would be nice to be able to go all "free form" Kung Fu though.
