Hey you! Don't own a PS3 and one of the best-selling games of all time? Sony has announced a brand new SKU for retail: the "Limited Edition PS3 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Bundle." The $299 package includes a 320GB PS3 system and a copy of Modern Warfare 3. Given a 320GB system normally costs $299 by itself, it's like getting the game for free. "Right out of the box, you will have instant and free access to the action-packed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 online multiplayer experience through PlayStation Network," the PlayStation.Blog notes, taking a jab at Xbox Live's $60 annual fee for multiplayer. "This is a great option for those of you who already own a PS3 or for those who want to become a part of the PlayStation family." While it is a "deal" compared to the vanilla system, one can't be disheartened by the clear lack of effort placed into this bundle. Microsoft, for example, launched its own Modern Warfare 3-branded Xbox 360 system back when the game launched. For $349, the bundle offered a 320GB Xbox 360 with two controllers, headset, and a genuinely "limited edition" design.
