We're still going with "cautiously optimistic," but if the good buzz has convinced you to pre-order the game, Activision has detailed the playable characters you can snag for doing so.
Pre-orders at GameStop will give the "Rhino Challenge," which lets you take control of Rhino and wreak havoc on New York City with combos and score multipliers. Amazon takes a more peaceful route, with a playable Stan Lee -- as the famed Marvel writer alluded to earlier this year. Lee uses Spidey's powers to grab pages of his latest script, and collecting all the pages unlocks some kind of Spider-Man 50th anniversary surprise.
The Amazing Spider-Man is set for June 26, just before the film of the same name. Check out our preview for more details.
