PixelJunk games drop to $1 in anniversary sale
by Andrew Yoon, May 07, 2012 4:30pm PDTThe PixelJunk games are among the most critically-acclaimed titles available on the PlayStation Network. Spanning a variety of art styles and gameplay genres, the franchise has managed to garner quite the fan base over five years.
To celebrate, developer Q-Games is having an "anniversary sale" on the PlayStation Network starting tomorrow. For a limited time, many of the games will be available for only $1.
PixelJunk Racers, Monsters, Eden, and Shooter are all being marked down to $1 in the promotion. Newer games, like PixelJunk Shooter 2 and PixelJunk Sidescroller are being marked down by half. And PSP and Vita owners will be able to pick up PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe for half off, as well. The sale will run for exactly one week, beginning with tomorrow's PlayStation Store update.
Following the closure of the sale, Q-Games will then release the next entry to the series: PixelJunk 4am, an odd motion-controlled music performance app.
