Assassin's Creed 3 single player pre-order DLC exclusive to GameStop

Assassin's Creed is no stranger to retailer-exclusive pre-order bonus DLC. As with Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ubisoft is partnering up with GameStop to offer exclusive content for gamers that pre-order Assassin's Creed 3--including a single-player mission.

While not yet reflected on the product listing, GameStop will be offering an exclusive single-player mission for gamers that make a deposit: "The Lost Mayan Ruins." Given the game takes place in the Northeast during the American Revolution, it's clear these Mayans really got lost. In addition to the mission, GameStop will also offer the "Sawtooth Cutlass" weapon.

Assassin's Creed 3 will be available on October 30th.

  Hopefully Ubisoft continues the trend of the last three games, and either offering the GameStop DLC for very cheap (ACII) or free (AC:B, AC:R) with the single-player DLC.
