We humans are a curious bunch. We can know that something is bad, but feel strangely compelled to experience it ourselves so we have a laugh at just how bad it is. This is the mindset that grants disproportionate success to B-movies, disgusting foods, and the Jersey Shore. So when you hear that Kinect Star Wars is an "absolute disappointment," you're probably tempted to try it yourself. But how to do that without actually paying for it with money?

The Major Nelson blog gives word that a demo for the game has hit Xbox Live. Obviously, you'll need a Kinect sensor to make it work. It received a mixed reception, so now you can be the life of the party with your valuable insights on a poor quality Star Wars product.

Joking aside, the consensus does seem to indicate that kids enjoy it. If you have a small child who keeps dressing up as Boba Fett for Halloween, they might dig it. If you keep dressing up as Boba Fett for Halloween, you're probably better off avoiding it.
