Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse announced
Activision has confirmed "Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse," but hasn't shared many details of what exactly the game will entail.
The hit TV show Family Guy is getting another video game, Activision confirmed today. The rumored Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is official, though details like its developer, release target, and even game type are still wrapped up in mystery.
What we do know is that the game is coming to consoles (likely PS3/360 as leaked), and will feature the voice cast and writers behind the TV show. This is not to be confused with Family Guy Online, which recently began opening the beta in waves.
"Fans of Family Guy will love that we've taken some of the series' most iconic and memorable moments and built them into an impressive and uncensored video game," said Activision executive VP David Oxford, in the announcement. "Anyone who watches the show will appreciate how much we have adhered to its rich and twisted universe and characters."

When why should I buy it when I could watch it on TV?
I wonder if they'll try some new things with this instead of it being a bunch of pop-culture references held together with pritt-stick. -
This might be cool, as long as the game lets you explore multiple universes, maybe even some that were not covered in the episode. However, knowing Activision, it will be as cheap and short as possible :(

I had a dream last night were I was forced to take a class at night college called "Comparative History of Family Guy." It was the worst class I ever had. I did bad on the tests, but had an epiphany and wrote a paper on why a Space Jam episode of Family Guy demonstrated a true understanding of Space Jam. I think I passed.
