Deus Ex HR for that price is redonkulous. If I didn't already own it, I would be well pleased with that.

Think it would be worth getting now even though I won't get to it for months and months or just wait until the Christmas sales?

For $7 you can't really argue given what an amazing game it is. You might save $2 at Christmas but tbh, I'd just get it now. You won't regret it.

Damn I want Fallout New Vegas Ultimate or the DLCs to go on sale. I'm too cheap to pay $40 for either of those while I have the base game

Man last year during one of the Steam sales they had Fallout NV and all the DLC for like $7.50. That was pretty nutty seeing as how the "ultimate edition" for $40 was released a few weeks later (and it had been announced for a while)

Why is it that Steam and Gamers Gate get 18+ on-sale games listed in the article, and yet GoG, who have 12 game on sale, only get 4 listed?

      • reply

Because most of them are terrible.

Yeah, kind of. I deemed them to be of far less interest to most people than the GG and Steam games.

Can you find out or add (Origin) activated games like (Steamworks) at some point?

Any EA-published game can be added to Origin if you have the cd-key. Or do you mean games that require it?

          May 4, 2012 6:06 PM

No I just meant any game, I was unaware that all EA games (current ones at least) would activate on Origin, thank you kind sir

Not all EA games can be activated on Origin, you'll have much better luck with newer ones. I bought Crysis pack (Crysis + Warhead) on Steam some time ago and tried to activate on Origin recently. Warhead worked flawlessly but Crysis just didn't.

you will have to chat with ea support to get crysis added, that's what I had to do

I bought it at release and am happy with that, but, you know, I don't know how much $30 is worth to you at this precise moment.

I'm almost pissed that I paid $23 during the Christmas Steam Sale. I wasn't ready to play it then (although I immediately put in 20 hours), but I figured I should snag it at that price.
      Oh well.

Story of my life, man. Almost every game I've purchased in the last few years has been one that I got on sale, and didn't play until it was available for even less than the sale price.

On the PC, I'm basically of the mind that everything will be have-able for 5-10 bucks within a year anyway, so I rarely bother buying anything when it's brand new unless it's a must-have, like Diablo III. The major exception seems to be EA, which has resisted the sale pricing scheme on Origin for the most part.

Is Dungeon Siege 3 worth the five bucks on PC? The reviews on Amazon are pretty savage. Let's assume I'd be playing solo with a controller.

I don't understand region locked games ! I mean I loved Batman AA and now I can't buy AC. Don't developers want the money or what ? What options do you have when a game is region locked :(.
