Weekend Confirmed 111 - Elder Scrolls Online, Black Ops 2, God of War: Ascension
by Garnett Lee, May 04, 2012 11:00am PDTBlockbuster games headline this episode of Weekend Confirmed. Elder Scrolls Online, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and God of War: Ascension alone could more than fill the show but there's more. Mike Schramm of TUAW and Joystiq helps the two Jeffs and Garnett bring the awesome needed to keep up with it all. The discussion of role-playing games also includes the recently released pirate-themed Risen 2. Sniper Elite V2 and a couple other things also make their way into the crowded mix before Finishing Moves puts the final exclamation point on the show.

What is with this guy? Is he right? Is he a true free thinking rebel, calling out the oppressive bad guys? Or is he a guy who's sudden success is is causing him to indulge a little too much in his own self importance? Are his rude insults justified? Or are they unprofessional and graceless? Do we need this guy to be the Sherrif of the gaming industry? Or does he needs to drink a warm glass of shut the hell up? Should the
things he publishes on his Twitter be taken as 'public statements'? Or do journalists need to give him some privacy and refrain from using his tweets as 'news'? Is EA ruining gaming? Are 'Indy games' saving gaming?
I'd like, nay, require your thoughts on this matter.
