Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition announced for PC
by Steve Watts, May 04, 2012 8:00am PDTThe classic football-fantasy crossover is getting another release: Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition. The new title coming to PC will feature three new races, for a total of 23 in all. As the name would imply, one of those races is the Chaos Dwarves, an anticipated faction addition for long-time fans.
The two other races are the Daemons of Khorne, and Underworld outcasts. This edition of the game is also fleshing out the World Championship mode to include more stages of progression, and the game promises online play with private leagues.
For those unversed in Blood Bowl, the tabletop game mixes Warhammer strategy elements with football. The game has had a number of video game adaptations, most recently in 2008 with the Legendary Edition. Chaos Edition is due in September.
