Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse game coming to PS3 and Xbox 360, retail suggests

It appears Family Guy's foray into video games will expand beyond just Family Guy Online. According to online retailer Amazon.com, Activision plans on releasing a new game titled "Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse." In addition to this placeholder art, the retailer also has the game pegged for a September 25th release.

As Joystiq pointed out, this isn't the first time the Griffins have appeared in video games. Family Guy Video Game! was released in 2006 on PS2, Xbox, and PSP. Described as "too hot for TV," the game was bashed by critics.
