XSEED drops Grand Knights History plans
by Steve Watts, May 02, 2012 2:45pm PDTGrand Knights History won't be published in the US by XSEED, the company has announced. The latest from developer Vanillaware was slated to come out for PSP this year, but the company has stated it lacks the localization resources needed for the game.
"Unfortunately, it was determined that development resources required to localize the game were not available, necessitating its cancellation," said a statement from XSEED to Joystiq. "We regret not being able to bring the game to our fans, but we are committed to our 2012 lineup and look forward to sharing more on these games in the coming weeks and months."
The game is still planned to hit Europe under a different publisher, Rising Star Games. Dedicated fans could look into importing, but it seems North America plans have been effectively scuttled.
