If you are prone to nightmares, I suggest you do not watch this video. Hellspawn, glowing eyes, massive monsters towering over a cowering woman, and all that is good and holy trying mightily to keep the hordes at bay. It's not pretty, but it is entrancing.

Blizzard released a new Diablo III TV commercial announcing the impending return of the Lord of Terror to PC on May 15. The latest cinematic offers never before seen imagery from the game and should have gamers salivating even more over the thought of battling the inbound beasties.

I understand the rush to go live with articles but this is the third or fourth article just from TODAY that has blatant mis-spellings or grammatical errors. A bit of proofreading would be nice.

      E.g.

(I'm guessing the word keep is missing).

I'm seeing more and more of this every day.

That is a terrible encoding of that commercial. The audio sounds like it was recorded by holding a cell phone up to the TV. Is this the commercial as Blizzard distributed it from press??

Hm, the version on Diablo's official YouTube channel sounds almost just as terrible. It's extremely tinny, as if it's been put through a high pass filter

Nice. But I am getting irritated by the game and movie previews that involve a dozen, half-second long fade wipes. I understand that it is there to increase excitement. But it is so uninformative and irritating.

TV advertising is trash. Look at that Prototype 2 ad for a pristine example.

I trust you fine folks on this website for my game advertising.

I don't need a pristine, single cut. Multiple cuts are fine. But just don't make them 1 second or less. Make them 2 or 3 seconds minimum.

This is mostly about movie previews. I hate watching a preview and the screen keeps strobing fade cuts so fast that I can hardly make out what I am looking at. Make the cuts last longer.

I realize that gamers will instantly know how this game plays. If Blizzard feels the need to have a commercial for those very few who don't know what this game is about, show some game play footage.
