QuakeCon pre-registration begins tomorrow
by Steve Watts, Apr 24, 2012 8:15am PDTGet your clicking fingers ready, because pre-registration begins tomorrow for this year's QuakeCon. As usual, the event will be free for general admission, but you can chip in some dollar bills for various tiers of goodies and special access.
The Bethesda Blog details the registration details. You'll want to jump to the registration site at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m EST to pre-register, particularly if you want one of the packages that's sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
The packages themselves should sound familiar to QuakeCon vets. The BYOC Select-a-Seat is $30 (1,500 available) and guarantees a seat of your choice in the BYOC area, plus a QuakeCon t-shirt. The Swag Pack is $40 (500 available) and nets you the QuakeCon shirt, along with a Dishonored shirt and a poster. Finally the QuakeCon Done Quick for $50 offers a reserve seat in the BYOC area, express lane passes for BYOC, panels, speakers, and public events, reserve seating, and a QuakeCon t-shirt.
QuakeCon is set to take place at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, TX, from Thursday Aug. 2-5.
