FUNimation's animated Dragon Age movie Dawn of the Seeker hits Amazon on May 29, but if you can't wait that long, you'll be able to catch it on the big screen during a limited engagement showing. Limited as in one night only and at only four North American locations.

The film, set in BioWare's Dragon Age universe, will be shown May 24 in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Edmonton, the home of BioWare. Directed by Fumihiko Sori, the story follows a young Seeker named Cassandra Pentaghast as she tries to uncover a conspiracy that could tear apart the most powerful religious order in the realm. According to BioWare's Creative Director Mike Laidlaw, "Finding out [Cassandra's] backstory, seeing how she rose to the prominence that she has gives us this completely new take on what's happening both with her order and with the templars, and with that ongoing conflict that ties the whole Dragon Age universe together."

If you aren't lucky enough to live in one of the select locations, you can pre-order the movie on Blu-ray or DVD beginning May 29 on Amazon for $15.99.
