The Walking Dead coming to PC, Mac, and PS3 tomorrow
by Steve Watts, Apr 23, 2012 9:45am PDTAMC's hit TV series The Walking Dead has finished its season, and now zombie fans have the long wait for season three. If you want to fill the undead-shaped hole in your heart with video games, however, you don't have to wait much longer. The first episode of The Walking Dead game from Telltale is coming to PC, Mac, and PlayStation Network tomorrow.
An announcement on the game's official site, and then echoed on the PlayStation Blog gives the details. The first episode, "A New Day," will come tomorrow for $4.99. You can also pre-purchase all five episodes for $19.99, netting you a savings of five bucks and (with the PSN version) a PS3 premium theme.
The series tells the story of a new character in the world of the comics, which the TV show has deviated from in some ways. You won't be spending all your time with Rick and his crew, but you're in roughly the same geographical area, so you might see familiar locales or characters pop up from time to time.
An Xbox 360 and iOS version is also due in the future.
