Regardless of the resolution, graphics, gameplay, etc. Blizzard delivers quality games that cater to a broader audience. How else can you sell so many copies if you just cater to the high-end? Dont get me wrong...would have loved to see higer rez and stuff. Ill still play and just wait about 5 years for Diablo 3 to come out in an old 3d engine. hehehe

I had a go of the stress test and while the game looks to be just as addictive as the first, with even more stuff to collect and do, I really think Blizzard dropped the ball with the graphics. You can sort of see that they're technically better (nice lighting, no tiling etc) but it just doesn't look sharp and consistent at all. The monsters just look like mush - not even as nice as those in D1 imho.
I will buy it and probably spend most of my waking hours playing it for the next couple of months, but it's such a shame that what could have been the 'perfect' action rpg with all that content has been let down so badly with such nasty pixelated graphics.
