Sniper Elite V2 demo ricochets into PC
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 19, 2012 12:45pm PDTConsole players have had a week to play the Sniper Elite V2 demo, and now PC gamers can try out sniping Nazis and watching internal views of their testicles exploding. PCnauts are also being treated in the full game, with an exclusive deathmatch mode not found on consoles.
You can download the 2GB PC demo now through Steam.
While 505 Games is publishing the console editions, developer Rebellion is self-publishing Sniper Elite V2 on PC, so it's free to slip in a little something extra. Along with the regulation-issue co-op, it'll pack an exclusive 6v6 team deathmatch mode with dedicated server support.
Sniper Elite V2 launches for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 1. Pre-ordering nets you an exclusive mission to, you know, kill Hitler. No big deal.
