Marvel producing Max Payne 3 comic
by Steve Watts, Apr 17, 2012 10:45am PDTMax Payne 3 is getting a 3-part tie-in graphic novel through Marvel comics. The series will detail Max's past, from his early years through the two prior games, and setting the stage for the events of the third game.
The comics are being written by Dan Houser and Remedy's Sam Lake, with cover art from Greg Horn and pencils/inks by Fernando Blanco. Comic fans may recognize Fernando Blanco for his work on Manhunter and Army of Darkness, while Greg Horn is well-known for his Marvel covers. But, some of those covers are well-known for all the wrong reasons.
The comic will be released digitally and in limited print editions. The first, titled "After the Fall," is due sometime in the next few weeks, for free through Rockstar and on various digital comic channels.
