One highly-regarded Xbox Live Indie title is making the jump to Nintendo platforms. Aban Hawkins and the 1,000 Spikes from Nicalis is heading for both the 3DS eShop and the Wii U. It will sport a (slightly) new title, along with new features and layers of polish.
RevoGamers (via Joystiq) reports that "Aban Hawkins and the 1,001 Spikes" will get updated art, graphics and sound, and a 4-player mode to boot. The 3DS version is set for sometime this year, and the Wii U version is aiming to be ready for the system's launch.
If you simply can't wait for a brutally difficult old-school platformer with liberal homages to Indiana Jones, the game is still up on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel for a buck.
