EA has released a Battlelog app for iOS devices, which wrangles together your personal stats, friends' activity, leaderboards, and news in a handy format.

Just in case you're one of those people who need to obsessively check on his or her Battlefield 3 stats while waiting for the bus, EA has released a Battlelog app for iOS devices. The free app is now available, and keeps track of your friends' activity, leaderboards, and news.

The App features list the "full-fledged Battlelog platform." That includes a Battle Feed for notifications when your friends unlock weapons or awards, a Com Center to check who's playing and on what server, your own personal stats, leaderboards, and updates from DICE.

Reviews seem fairly positive for the app, which at the moment is only on iOS devices. The Android store doesn't have its own Battlelog yet, so you'll have to rely on the various third-party stat apps if you happen to use a Droid phone.

You know this would have been cool while I was still playing BF3.

So what's with BF3 players dropping off so rapidly after release? BFBC2 had a very solid community for a good year until the BF3 release. But now we're barely 6 months in and it seems the community has at least halved in size.

I swear this has been happening more of late. Two nights ago I had three games crash in row, Im starting to hate that EA online server crash message. Did work ok last night. Population during the week is low, weekends it picks up.

Here are a few problems... 24/7 metro servers, instant vehicle respawn, 4 player servers, 1000+ ticket servers, and a good portion of really really horrible maps. I would have no problem if they just redid ALL of BF2's maps and sold em.
