Mario for Wii U to be shown at E3 later this year
by Andrew Yoon, Apr 16, 2012 9:15am PDTGetting older. Taxes. New Mario games on Nintendo hardware. Some things in life are simply inevitable. So, forgive us for not being surprised when Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that a new Super Mario game will be headed to the company's next home console, the Wii U.
"Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U system will be shown at this year's E3 Expo," a Nintendo spokesperson said.
"We'll have more to announce about our plans for the E3 Expo at a later date," the company told Eurogamer.
The new Mario game will have to showcase the benefit of Wii U's unique tablet-like interface. Other games coming to the Wii U include a new Pikmin title, which Miyamoto claims will "take advantage of the new HD screen resolution."

Id Software has confirmed they're also having discussions about it - but the reason they're not sure about it is because they fail to recognize "hardcore" audience. I've spoken to community managers - long story short - my message was that they should research a bit more - actual hardcore nintendo's audience does like FPS games especially the Metroid Prime series, and i would buy an id software game - they do not have to modify game quality to appeal to casuals - if they think "hardcore" is modern warfail then we have a poblem. Today's COD gameplay is mainstream, you see what what happened with Crysis 2 being a total COD clone - CEO admitted failure, the whole legacy and company image was ruined by the Crysis 2 disaster - they knew the design and gameplay would compromise the franchise but they thought the X360 sales would be so good - Crysis 2 failed to live up to the original in creative and financial success - double fail for - a punishmet for hogging stupid trends and following suits.

Hopefully id makes it on nintendo without compromises !!!
Can everyone please stop following suits of the "3rd party Wii test game"
