Skullgirls arrive on PS3 and Xbox 360 next week
by Andrew Yoon, Apr 06, 2012 9:30am PDTRevenge Labs' gorgeous hand-drawn 2D fighting game has just been dated. Skullgirls will be available on the PlayStation Store on April 10th, and Xbox Live Arcade on April 11th for $14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points).
For the uninitiated, Skullgirls promises "the most frames of animation per character of any fighting game." And although a downloadable game, it promises the standard features of a retail fighting game, such as online multiplayer, story modes, and training modes.
A demo will be available at launch, featuring two characters (Filia and Cerbella), an abbreviated arcade mode against three AI characters, four tutorials, and local versus play. The full game will include eight characters, but more characters will be made available as DLC--including males.
