Ninja Gaiden 3 was released last month to tepid reviews, but Team Ninja continues undaunted, releasing DLC for single player and multiplayer and various levels of difficulty. The content can be purchased as a pack or individually.

Most notable among the downloads are the Falcon Talons developed by Ryu Hayabusa in NInja Gaiden 2. The Talons will be usable in the story mode. Also a new stage for online multiplayer is available, as well as a higher level cap. All are free, available as a software update for PS3 and as Ninja Lite Pack 1 for the 360.

If you want more, then pull out the wallet. Ninja Pack 1 includes Metal Claws for online multiplayer as well as Ninja Trials packs for various levels of difficulty: Acolyte, Mentor, Leader and Master. It will be 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99. The items can also be purchased individually, but prices have not been announced.

Coming April 24, Ultimate Ninja Difficulty mode will be a free download for a month. It is designed to challenge the most hardcore players.

So they took all the weapons out, so they can re-add them in DLC?

I played NG over and over, through Hard.
I've failed to beat NG2 twice now, because I got bored with it. Combat felt like they added too much cheap, even though I wasn't having much trouble with the game.
      I'm guessing NG3 didn't improve on it.

i never finished NG Sigma, i lost interest at some point in the town area. i got lost and confused and the constant switching to the girl just ruined the game for me. honestly I might have pushed on through the town but the girl really just ruined the whole game to me. i was having a good time with the combat though, it was hard and kind of sloppy, but fun and rewarding. I hate that i dropped it. doubt ill ever go back to it though.
