European Vita update 1.65 pulled for techical issues

The firmware update for the PS Vita that hit today has been pulled for technical reasons, but should be back up soon.

Those of you waiting for your PS Vita firmware upgrade today are going to have to wait a bit longer. Sony pulled the European version 1.65 upgrade down because of a "technical fault," but promises to have it back up soon.

The update was available for a short time, and Sony assured those that already grabbed it that they would be fine. The U.S. version still has not been posted.

If you missed the specs for the update, the modifications include:

A “Notification Alert” option will be added to Settings, so you can toggle alerts on or off
"After 10 minutes" will be added to the time options under Power Save Settings
An Arrow icon will now appear when PS Vita finds new activities in the LiveArea
Caps Lock will be supported in the On Screen Keyboard

      It doesn't show a % readout, just a small bar that makes it impossible to decipher anything but about 30% 60% 90% etc.

  It's more than Europe I think. My friend had his update to 1.65 and I went to update mine and there wasn't one. So, for a short period it was in North America as well.
