Game of Thrones trailer has so much stabbing
by Steve Watts, Mar 29, 2012 5:15pm PDTIn making a game based on Game of Thrones, Cyanide Studios has the unenviable task of trying to craft a licensed game off a property that is both critically acclaimed and beloved by geeks. It's probably impossible to please people with such high stakes, but a new trailer at least shows they have the gist of the show down.
In the roughly minute and a half of footage, we see slow walking, veiled threats, stabbing, yelling, clubbing, more stabbing, and a brief moment of side-boob. I counted at least five distinct stab wounds. If Cyanide just throws some incest and Peter Dinklage in there, they'll have encapsulated the show completely.
The game is due on May 15 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Check out the trailer below.
