EVE Online Fanfest 2012 kicks off today
by John Keefer, Mar 22, 2012 2:00pm PDTEVE Online fans are on top of the world right now as the EVE Online Fanfest 2012 has kicked off in Iceland. Even if the fans can't make it to the home of developer CCP in Iceland, they can still keep up with the events through the first live streaming of the get-together.
The first day's activities will be wrapping up soon, but for those who missed it, the fanfest TV schedule will begin rebroadcasting most of the events starting at 2:45 p.m. PST. Perhaps the most interesting thing from Day 1 is the DUST 514 keynote, looking at the first-person shooter MMO hybrid coming the the PS3.
If you are an early riser, Day's 2's TV coverage will begin at 2:45 a.m. PST, with the rebroadcast kicking off 12 hours later. Highlights from Day should be the various roundtables and presentations, such as the State of the Economy and Ship Balancing. If you click the streaming link and don't see any of the panels, yes, the stream has commercials between events.
Keep checking back for updates from the show.
