LittleBigPlanet Karting announced, coming from ModNation team
by Andrew Yoon, Mar 22, 2012 6:45am PDTThe curious LittleBigPlanet Karting project has been officially announced. And as expected, it's coming from ModNation Racers developer, United Front Games.
"Our goal with LBP Karting has been fairly simple – provide a fast-paced experience that captures the best of classic karting gameplay, married with the unbridled creativity of LBP," producer James Grieve said in the announcement.
Unfortunately, Grieve wouldn't comment about what the switch to the LBP franchise meant for ModNation Racers--and how this racing game will ultimately differ. Like MNR, LBPK will feature a Create mode, with "tons of familiar LBP gadgets" and "a new toolbox specifically tailored to allow for building in LBP Karting’s 3D world."
