Another bag of indies are up for grabs at a price of your choosing in 'The Humble Bundle for Android 2,' launched today with Canabalt, Cogs, Zen Bound 2 and Avadon: The Black Fortress--plus Swords & Soldiers if you beat the average. Don't be fooled by the name; it does pack PC, Mac and Linux editions of them all too.

Hit up HumbleBundle.com to buy it, where you'll get DRM-free downloads of Avadon, Canabalt, Cogs and Zen Bound 2 no matter how little you pay. If you pay more than $1--and you surely will--you'll get Steam keys for all games except Canabalt, which isn't sold there. Then, should you spend more than the current average price, you'll get Swords & Soldiers thrown in too.

All five games are making their Android debut in the Bundle, and it's first time several are on Linux. Avadon is only for Android tablets, though, as it's a bit too much for a small phone screen.

This latest Humble Bundle will be sold until 4 p.m. PDT on April 2. Given the bundleer's track record, we can probably expect a surprise addition or two to the package along the way.

Also only 2/5 seem worth a damn to me.

Swords and Soldiers seems like fun. It's like an RTS. Collect gold, send soldiers out to auto walk forward at the enemy, buy spells to boost your dudes. It has multiplayer too.

Cogs seems like fun. It's a puzzler. 3D slide puzzles without putting numbers or pictures in order. Connect the gears to make the mechanism work basically. 3D puzzles around cubes and stuff.

Canabalt looks cool but it's not really fun. You're constantly running forward and you tap to make jumps over obstacles and go through windows. When you fuck up you start at the beginning. I don't know if there's different levels but it seems to me that you just keep going forward to see how far you can get. Score is in metres. Anyway, it's kind of tedious.

Zen Bound 2 I may need to give a bit of time to. I can't beat the first level and get the rope to wrap around the nail. That's all there is to it it seems. Wrap the rope around the object as much as you can and then try to wrap it around a glowing nail. Might be ok if I were better at it.

I had the most hope for Avadon but quit during the first encounter. It's basically a choose your own adventure/text adventure game with poor graphics and boring turn based combat. Snore.

Does anyone know how much the last Android bundle raised? I'm sure they're thinking they can break into the mainstream by moving onto mobile devices, but I can't imagine limiting themselves to games that are also on phones has been as successful as the regular bundles. Maybe they're just out of really cool indies to offer, but I've looked at the last couple of HIBs and been very underwhelmed...

Not sure if any of those tickle my fancy, but an updated version of Toki Tori in the last bundle that works for ICS would be nice...

Swords and Soldiers is amazing. The rest don't really entice me.

it's not. it's basically a text adventure with graphics that aren't that great. the combat is turn based and the game keeps freezing for a second or 2 but carries on

Avadon is good and it's kind of shocking to see it in the bundle considering how much the creator of it used to be opposed to lowering the price for it.

I'll definitely buy this if they add the last bundle or at least some of it. (I forgot about it till it was too late :P)

I should have looked at the games before I impulse bought them ... seems Cogs is the only one really interesting to me (that I can actually play on my phone).

Hm, I wish they'd release the games on the Android Market. Just easier to update and all.
