Now that BioShock Infinite has a release date, it's time to start cranking up the marketing engine and reveal a little more. The cloudborne shooter's 'Heavy Hitter' special enemies are under scrutiny in a new trailer series, starting off with a look at the delightful Motorized Patriot.

"What I personally would've liked to have seen in a BioShock game was a broader range of enemies," creative director Ken Levine explains in the trailer. "In BioShock Infinite, we really wanted to have a class of enemies that had a more imaginative range of powers. We came up with this concept called the Heavy Hitters, who are enemies that are used to not just be more powerful but also to augment the abilities of the more traditional BioShock enemies."

Enter the Motorized Pariot, a cracked and ragged clockwork George Washington robot armed with a beefy gatling gun. If you put the Father of His Country down, you can grab his weapon.

BioShock Infinite is headed to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 16. It's developed by Irrational Games with the Australian branch of 2K Marin, and published by 2K Games.

As long as it's PC-friendly (specifically being able to raise that very low FoV they have there) I think this one will be good. 1999 mode certainly helps, even just for the fact that they're including it.

That makes two games with George Washington this year. I'm cool with it.
