Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack invading PC
by Jeff Mattas, Mar 07, 2012 2:30pm PSTMutant blobs attacked the PlayStation Vita at launch, but developer DrinkBox Studios revealed during a meeting at GDC 2012 today that it's working on bringing the gelatinous platformer to PC and Mac as well. I previewed the PS Vita version of the game just prior to launch, and can safely say that Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is an experience that fans of the genre will enjoy.
Joystiq reports that the PS Vita's touch-screen functionality--used for the blob's telekinetic powers--will shift to the mouse on PC and Mac.
The PC and Mac versions will support Steam achievements, and the developer states that it intends to either release both versions simultaneously, or PC first, with Mac to follow shortly thereafter. The target release window for both versions is targeted for May or June, according to DrinkBox CEO Ryan McLean.
