Have there been any in game screens yet? There seem to be a deluge of news, yet I haven't seen any pop up.

Why are they releasing specs so early on? I thought this was due a 2013 release?

yeah this is strange, I've never heard of a release date, system specs a year ahead, BEFORE screenshots

Probably so when they release the game and if its buggy and slow on everyone computer they can say "those system specs were released a year ago and are out dated"

This is a mainstream game - the system requirements is rather low so they can announce it early.

if you are going to sell a pre-order, you better have a list of expected specs so people can make an informed purchase.

It's amazing how fast hype can drop for a game after hearing EA/Origin. Damn you EA, leave PC gaming alone!

I think the best way to do co-op in this game would be to have it like... Sim State. You and your friends have a chunk of land the size of a state and you each start in your corner and just start building. Then they work in ways to trade etc with neighboring cities. I'm not how it would work with timing... if it was a persistent server that could be an issue if some people play more than others. I guess it could be hosted on one persons machine and people can only play when that person is online. I'm sure there are ways to do it.
