Inversion dated for June following delay
by Alice O'Connor, Mar 06, 2012 6:39am PSTHaving been delayed at short notice for a little extra work, Inversion now has a new release date. Saber Interactive's gravity-warping shooter will flip onto PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 5 in North America, publisher Namco Bandai announced.
The European release will follow on June 8.
"The extra development time for Inversion affords the team the opportunity to create an enjoyable and engaging third-person shooter experience with a comprehensive multiplayer component, including extensive competitive and co-operative modes," according to a Namco Bandai release.
Inversion was previously due on February 25, but was originally lined up to launch some time in 2010. Check out Jeff's preview from April 2011, though bear in mind that an awful lot can change in 14 months.
