Assassin's Creed 3 screenshots leak
by Steve Watts, Mar 02, 2012 10:15am PSTNow that the cat has cut its way out of the proverbial bag (with wrist-blades, no doubt), we know for certain that Assassin's Creed 3 will take place during the American Revolution. That's raised its fair share of questions, most of them revolving around how this new assassin will traverse his way around the cities before many big cities exist. The answer might lie in a batch of screenshots that have leaked today.
The shots popped up on Reddit (via Joystiq). One of the screens clearly shows a bustling Colonial city that we would guess is Philadelphia or Boston. Plus, one intriguing shot (above) seems to confirm that the game will use trees as the parkour du jour, bringing a twist on the stealth aspect of the game.
More official details are expected soon. In the meantime, check out the screens.

But then I don't like the setting, low wondering buildings... hardly AC vista/climbing material.
Was hoping for something more along the lines of AC1 architecture.
