With Sly and Jak having already received HD re-releases on PS3, what's the next Sony franchise to get a high-definition makeover? Ratchet & Clank, it seems--at least according to a leaked listing on Amazon France.
Numerous outlets have spotted the listing (now taken down), noting a May 16th release for the compilation.
In 2010, franchise developer Insomniac said they'd "support" an HD remastering of the original PS2 games. However, like the other HD re-releases thus far, Insomniac would not be working on it directly.
Four games in the Ratchet series were released on the PlayStation 2 that could be considered for inclusion in a shiny new Blu-ray package: Ratchet & Clank, Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, and the not-very-punny Deadlocked. However, given there are already four Ratchet & Clank games on PS3, this collection may seem a bit less exciting than the ones Sony has already released.
Deadlocked is still worth playing imo a the combat is streamlined and is still fun... however all4one is terrible. Going...
All4One is another departure.
i like Tools of Destruction better. felt more "epic." can't go wrong with the whole trilogy though, good stuff
