Game Gear on 3DS shown off

Sega provides a first look at the border and system options for its Game Gear Virtual Console games.

The first batch of Game Gear games are set to hit the 3DS eShop in Japan and Europe soon, and Sega has teased a look at the presentation we can expect. Like the Game Boy titles, Game Gear packs a nifty easter egg that imitates a system border (above).

Andriasang reports that the emulation will also come with various options, including screen mode, system color, ghosting, and system performance. The color can be black, blue, yellow, and red. The initial line-up for Japan includes Sonic & Tales 2, Shinobi, and Dragon Crystal for 300 yen each.

Both Sonic Triple Trouble and Shinobi were recently rated by the ESRB, so we can be assured that those two titles will be coming to the US eShop. The system also plans to add TG-16 titles sometime in the future.
