Cartoon Network's popular Young Justice series is getting its first video game adaptation. Young Justice: Legacy, a "multiplayer action RPG" will be available next year on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and DS. The show's eclectic cast--which includes Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis--will likely make DC fans eager to try the multiplayer game.

Young Justice: Legacy will feature an original storyline that takes place between the first season of the show and the upcoming second season, dubbed Invasion. The script will be written "in collaboration" with Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, the show's writers.

"The new video game contains a slew of cool features and a large playable cast of familiar heroes," Matt Scott, CEO of publisher Little Orbit said in a press release. "But our core mission is to create a unique experience that fits seamlessly into the world of the show and offers a new way to interact with these popular DC Comics characters."
