Angry Birds Space coming March 22
by Andrew Yoon, Feb 17, 2012 10:30am PSTThe Angry Birds empire continues to expand. Rovio has announced its next Angry Birds game: Angry Birds Space. It will be the fifth game in the series since the franchise's debut in 2009, following Seasons, Rio, and the recent launch of the Facebook game.
The official teaser site shows an image of a slingshot on the moon, suggesting the gameplay won't drastically differ from the previous games. The space setting should (hopefully) play with gravity, which should make for an interesting twist.
No other details, such as platform or price, have been announced. However, it seems a safe bet that this new iteration of Angry Birds will find its way to a mobile device when it launches on March 22nd.
