PlayStation Vita is coming out in just a few weeks, and there will be 26 games available for the launch. But, what if you've amassed a catalog of PSP games? Will you be able to play them on Sony's shiny new handheld? Provided you purchased your PSP games via the PlayStation Network, many games will be available to re-download to your Vita.

Unfortunately, not every game will be available on day one. There are 275 PSP titles available for Vita.

The full list includes some great games, like God of War, Dissidia, DJ Max Portable 3, Persona 3, and Syphon Filter. However, there are a number of key games missing, including Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Grand Theft Auto, and more. Sony says that "more PSP titles will be made available for PS Vita play in the coming weeks." However, do note that some games not included on the official list, like Valkyria Chronicles 2 and PixelJunk Monsters, are compatible with the Vita. You may want to experiment for yourself.

So, how does one get PSP games onto the Vita? If you've already purchased a game from the PlayStation Network, you must return to your "Download List" and transfer the content to your Vita. You can also browse the PlayStation Store to purchase downloadable PSP games directly on your device.
