CryEngine 3 licensed for RPG by Warhorse Studios
by Jeff Mattas, Feb 09, 2012 10:45am PSTCryEngine 3 is capable of some pretty and impressive things. Prague-based Warhorse Studios, comprised of industry vets that have worked on titles such as those in the Mafia series, as well as Operation Flashpoint, has announced it will be using CryEngine 3 for its debut RPG.
"We looked at every major technology out there and CryENGINE 3 suits our needs perfectly. We are confident it will allow us to make the vision for our game come true," stated Warhorse executive producer Martin Klima.
Very little in the way of detail about the actual game was revealed in the official announcement by Crytek today. "The debut title for the studio will combine open-world experience with a rich story and innovative gameplay elements," the team detailed.
