Mortal Kombat Kollection punches onto PC

You might not have noticed, as publisher Warner Bros didn't publicise it much, but the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is now on PC, offering online-enabled versions of MK 1, 2 and 3 for $10.

You may not have noticed that the retro bundle o' blow-trading that is the Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection was released for download on PC last week, perhaps because publisher Warner Bros. neglected to publicize it much. But it was released, you know, so, if you want, you could buy the revamps of the first three MK games now, with money?

The Arcade Kollection packs versions of Mortal Kombat, MK2, and Ultimate MK3 jazzed-up by Other Ocean Interactive with online multiplayer and running smoothly on modern PCs.

It's available now from a variety of digital distributors for $9.99, though Steam has a 15% launch discount which brings it down to $8.49.

They won't, and you'll miss out on an awesome game. It's a great port.

It's not very good, at least on the PC. Here's my video review/preview I did for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oBUEe2lppM

It's about as lazy a port that you can possibly make for the PC. I'm sure the console versions are fine but the PC release is a mess.

I got it for the 360 on a whim, had 800 points to spend and was really itching for a figher..

It's good, but the fucking d-pad of the 360 KILLS it for me. I don't have the $ for a stick. I think i"ll just build a MAME cabinet sometime when I get a good job out of school.
